I’m Michael C. — born and raised in the Bronx.

Not the easy Bronx. The real Bronx.

The one where you grow up fast, learn to fight young, and hustle even younger.

 

I didn’t come from money.

I didn’t come from comfort.

I came from a home where survival was the first lesson and responsibility was the second.

 

While other kids were dreaming, I was working.

Two jobs. Three Jobs. Extra Part-time time Jobs, and Overtime.

Whatever it took — I did it.

 

I wasn’t chasing luxury.

I was chasing stability.

I was chasing a future for the two people who gave my life meaning:

Amber and Mikey — my kids, my pride, my heart.

 

Everything I’ve built, every hour I worked, every sacrifice…

It was all for them.

 

Today, I’m blessed to be engaged to Melissa, a woman who believes in me, supports the mission, and stands beside me as I build something bigger than clothes.

Because I know what it feels like to have nothing.

 

I know what it feels like to grow up without the money for name brands…

without the things everyone else had.

 

So I decided to build a brand for people who grind like I did.
